Another wonderful addition to Denmark’s lively cultural scene is its multi-functional House of Music. Clad with thin-film photovoltaics the House of Music is designed to maximize energy-efficiency. It also utilizes other sustainable design elements such as natural ventilation, radiant heating and cooling of concrete slabs and walls to regulate the temperature within the facility.
With an educational facility, symphonic concert hall, auditorium and public courtyards in place, Denmark’s House of Music is a perfect example of the synergy of sustainable development and design ethics.
